Project Investigator Lohrenz was an invited panelist and speaker at the USDA/EPA National Workshop on Water Quality Markets, November 15-17, 2015 in Lincoln, NE. His presentation provided an overview of project applications to support water quality and carbon management planning.

Project Principal Investigator Lohrenz participated in the Central Gulf of Mexico Center for Ocean Science Excellence in Education (COSEE: CGOM) 2008 Summer Teacher's Workshop, making a presentation entitled "The Ocean’s Role in Carbon Cycling and Climate Change". During this activity, he worked with teachers to develop for the fifth-seventh grade levels a class excercise and presentation entitled "CO2 and You".
